Upcoming Outdoor Demonstration

For anyone that lives in and around Macomb, Il, I am having an outdoor flashlight demonstration.  This will be the first time that I’ve had a real opportunity to show all the lights I sell, in the dark, when you most use a light.  If you are able to stop by for just a look or have a flashlight in mind you want to buy, I would appreciate seeing you this coming Thursday (Sept. 29th).  The demostration will be from 7-9pm in the parking lot behind Maple Avenue Christian Church.  Let’s hope for great weather and plenty of dark so we can light up the night.

Selling flashlights at our yard sale!

Hey everyone,

Tomorrow (Aug. 6th) I will have a table set up at our yard sale selling all the lights that I currently have in stock.  I will also have accessories such as batteries, chargers, holsters, and more on display.  If you would just like to stop by to see the latest flashlights, come on over.  The yard sale is at 1135 E. Carroll St. in Macomb, IL.

4Sevens flashlight updates!!!

I now have in stock a couple of the 4Sevens Maelstrom S12 , the Turbo X 123, and one Quark 123×2 Tactical WW.  I also have the 26650 battery and charger.

A few thoughts on the new lights.  The Maelstrom S12 is a very good size for a handheld light with amazing output and runtime.  It will light up my entire backyard and a house a block away.  Shining it on the ceiling overpowers the ceiling lights and makes for a great room lighter.  The switch is different than their other models but I don’t have a problem with it.  In actual use it is not much of a problem, unless you don’t like to twist the tailcap and prefer a clicky.

The Quark 123×2 Turbo “X” is another outstanding flashlight by 4Sevens.  It’s feels great to hold and puts out a huge amount of light for it’s size.  Throw is good with a fair amount of spill.  Runtime is somewhat close to same as the Turbo 123×2 with nearly twice the output.  I did try to pocket carry the light for a day, but the head was just a little to big.  In comparison, I’ve pocket carried the Quark 123×2 Turbo without problem and the Quark RGB with the 18650 battery tube.

I have a preference for warm or neutral tint lights.  So I ordered a Quark 123×2 Tactical Warm White.  I really like better color rendering more than output.  And with a light that renders colors better, output doesn’t seem to suffer as much as it does.  A few friends and family say it too yellow and prefer the cool white.  But most of them just want a light that is bright with several different outputs.

I will be updating stock list, prices, and quantity soon.  If there is a flashlight that I have and you would like to know the price, please send me an email at: apolloflashlights@gmail.com

Update on selling on Amazon

Because of a mistake on my part, I have realized that I can not sell 4Sevens flashlights on Amazon.com.  I still have a few lights for sale on Amazon.  As always, you can call or email me for information about purchasing lights directly.

Most of my flashlights are now selling on Amazon!

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have all the lights that I can sell on Amazon up and ready.  There are a couple that aren’t sold on Amazon and these lights don’t have a UPC code on them, which is required.  I will be posting them here in the next few days.  They are the Jetbeam RRT-0 R2 and Jetbeam III-M R2.  Other companies are selling these lights, but with the newest emitters.  I will post them at my lowest price which includes free shipping and batteries.

Now selling on Amazon!

Great news everyone, I am now selling on Amazon.  And I had my first sale last recently and have sold a total of 4 so far.  Yipee!!    Prices on Amazon are the lowest I can advertise, however if you contact me directly, I can give you my lowest price.  Kind of like the “Call or log on for lowest price” you see in magazines.

Selling on Amazon does give me a MUCH  wider audience.  And I offer free shipping on every light I sell on Amazon as well as two sets of batteries for all 4Sevens flashlights.  All other brands include one set of batteries.

Just received the Zebralight SC51!!!

I’ve finally received the shipment of Zebralight SC51 flashlights that’s been on order for awhile.  And I love this light!.  I’ve been running one on a Eneloop AA rechargeable and the output is amazing.  The high is 200 lumens, the low is 0.2 lumens, and the levels in between seem to be just right.  You can also turn the light on in either high mode or low mode, your choice, every time.  Throw is very good for a light this size and of course flood is good as well.  I have not tried the headband but it looks like it should work quite well.  The first picture compares this light with the 4Sevens Mini AA and the Jetbeam Jet-I Pro.  It’s not much bigger than the Mini AA.  With the clip on this light, it literally disappears in your pocket.
