I thought some of you might find this interesting. My dad and I were going through an old shed at my grandmother’s house that is going to be torn down and I found this old flashlight. It doesn’t work as found but I may try and find a 6 volt battery with screw posts to see if the bulb is still good.
As you can see from the picture, the reflector looks like mylar or something like it. Looks like someones attempt at ‘improving’ the beam. I’m sure there is very little throw and probably not much light. I wander what kind of runtime this light has too.
The only information I can find on the light itself is on the handle. As you can see, it reads “Radar Bearcat By Burgess”. It actually looks to be in fair condition given the fact that the shed was in poor condition itself.
I will keep you posted if I get it working. I will leave you with a picture of the reflector. I will eventually try and take the light apart to see what it looks like on the inside.
